
Suțu Palace — the headquarters of the Muzeul Municipiului București — dedicates a series of special events to the city in 2025, including an evening with contemporary Bucharest writers invited to read from their works and speak about the capital.
The event is part of the Zilele Bucureștiului program and will take place on September 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at Suțu Palace, 2 I.C. Brătianu Boulevard, Bucharest.
The evening offers an exploration of the literature of Bucharest, an inexhaustible narrative space that continues to inspire writers from different generations. The program includes author readings, previously unpublished fragments, and conversations about the city.

Adrian MAJURU

Author of the volume Papa Nicolau and Other Very, Very Short Stories, which won the Polirom Debut Prize.

The evening will be moderated by actor Raoul Alexis Ipate, who will also present a short performance dedicated to Ion Luca Caragiale.
The event is organized by the Muzeul Municipiului București, with the support of the Bucharest City Hall, in partnership with the literary magazine Ficțiunea.
