ISTANBUL 2015. Romania was the guest country at the Istanbul International Book Fair
(20–23 October 2015), and I was among the participating writers, presenting The Phanariot Manuscript. A substantial excerpt from the novel was published in two consecutive issues of the literary magazine Sözcükler. The selected fragments—translated by Leila Ünal(issue 58) and Sunia Iliaz Acmambet (issue 61)—explore the cities of Bucharest and Istanbul.
