For Zavaidoc, 1923 was an epic year. He was young and not really, he was already popular. There were no other singers of equal value around him. He was the only one. The radio, microphone, local discs had not appeared. However, his voice had entered everywhere, from the Royal Palace to the "new" territories (from Transylvania), because he brought the music of a man in love.

My encounter with Zavaidoc occurred while I was trying to understand the complex architecture and fragrance of 1923, the craziest of the "crazy years". On every newspaper page, in every book page, in the films and in the photographs of the beginning of the 20th century, we found the unparalleled voice of this artist, who moved through many cultural environments and sang with the same passion both operetta and folklore , but mostly a fresh and epic music of the post-war city. Everything that happened in the year 1923 encompasses the strength of Zavaidoc, coming from a love story, immersively connected to the history of a year.
